Hello
Asia. Hello
Asia from Oblio Telecom remains a very reliable card and has
exceptional rates and performance to the Philippines and
Indonesia among other Asian nations.
Blackstone.
Blackstone # 1 and Blackstone No Connect remain
card of choice for many Europeans and for longer calls to the
USA. Blackstone
#1 has a substantial connect fee, but gives a huge amount of
minutes – like 480 – on a $10 card to the US.
Union.
Union is still a very popular no connect card for
many overseas destinations, but has only 79 minutes (no
connect) to the US.
USA.
The popular USA card is carried in most Seaport Tel
vending machines as it has middle of the road connection fees
and gives a reasonable amount of minutes to most countries
including the US.
PT-1
Gold. The
PT-1 name was purchased by Union Telecard in 2000 and the
venerable and popular PT-1 name was reused for the first time
in 2003. The card
quickly became the most popular card in Alaska for foreign
nationals, with extensive purchases being made for calls to
South Africa, Honduras, China, and several other countries
popular with crew members.
UTA.
This card has had the best rates to the middle
east, Peru, and has been perhaps more reliable than a lot of
others.
Alaska
Marine Highway Card.
This card, primarily sold in ferry terminal vending
machines, has 132 minutes, no connect to the US and Alaska,
and is a custom, collectible design by artists of the ferry
system. Card is
provided by Seaport Telecommunications.
A
& P. The
$10 and $20
cards available at all Alaskan and Proud Markets is a
low connect card with 150 minutes on a $10 to Alaska and to the lower 48.
The performance of the card and the rates given are
better than cards being sold at box stores by AT&T, MCI,
and Sprint.
White
Pass. This
is a collectible card sold in Skagway at the White Pass depot
and other places. Photo
design is the property of White Pass and Yukon Route.
Minutes to USA are 200 to the lower 48 and 100 within
Alaska as card is primarily sold to tourists during the summer
time. A small
connection fee.
